Charles (Chuck) Reineck, moved to Las Vegas from Ocala, Florida in 2001. He is a member of the RID (LIMS, DPI and Deaf-Blind sections), NV RID, NAD Interpreter Section (former Chairperson), and CODA International. He is registered as a community and educational interpreter in Nevada. Charles also took continuing education workshops, while in Europe, for International Sign Language. Charles is married for 39 years, and raised two sons. He loves to travel all over the world and has crossed off many items on his ‘bucket list’. He enjoys bike riding, bowling, and horseback riding and is presently trying to learn to play pickleball!

Dejah (Day) Burchfield is an Ohio native who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a recent graduate of College of Southern Nevada and earned her Bachelor's Degree in American Sign Language/English Interpreting. She has been volunteering with NVIRD and other organizations for most of her life. Dejah loves being creative, meeting new people, and learning new skills along with using all of those to better her environment(s). As a firm believer in, “Access is not a privilege, it is a right.” She promises to use her privilege in the uplift-ment of others and to always provide access. In her free time you’ll find her out-and-about hiking, exploring new-found places; or crocheting at home cuddling with their fur-babies Tearney and Zamora.

Maia Malone is thrilled to have been nominated for the position of Secretary to the NVRID Board. Throughout her life, she has always enjoyed volunteering her time, passion, and dedication to various non-profit and professional boards. She has had the honor to serve as secretary for the NV Student Thespians Officers board, the Henderson Libraries Staff Association, and the ASL Club of the College of Southern Nevada. Additionally, she volunteered her time to the EDI committee for her previous place of employment, and is currently a Nevada Promise Scholarship mentor, as well as a member of the NVRID Professional Development Committee. In her free time, Maia enjoys crafting, reading, and hanging out with her two spooky fur babies, Toby and Toast. If you see her out and about, feel free to say "Hello!" She is always happy to chat!"
Hailey Cisneros was born and raised in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a recent graduate from College of Southern Nevada and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies: ASL/ English Interpreting. She has been involved with NVRID in various capacities for the past 4 years and has loved volunteering her time to this community and serving with colleagues. Hailey loves learning, solving problems, and being a team player-- all of which she is lucky to be able to do in this profession and with this organization! Not only does she hold the board position of Treasurer, but she also chairs the Professional Development Committee. In her free time, Hailey enjoys walking her rambunctious fur baby, Kbootz, and trying different kinds of restaurants in town. She loves to travel and explore places she hasn't been before with her partner, Tony.
Andrea Juillerat-Olvera is a scholar and thinker creating on a multitude of levels. Working as a sign language interpreter in higher education for the last 25 years enabled her to pursue additional degrees in her own areas of interest, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a Master of Fine Arts in Performance Art from the University of Nevada, Reno. Formerly a resident of Seattle, Washington, she left in 2005 to travel Eastern Europe, living and working as an English teacher in Ljubljana, Slovenia for 14 months.
Andrea’s creative manifestations are informed by her daily exposure to a broad range of learning environments. She works at the University of Nevada, Reno where she is an instructor and advisor for the American Sign Language program. She also provides training, workshops and presentations on disability issues through her service at the Disability Resource.

Alexis is honored to serve as a Member-at-Large for the Southern Nevada community. A recent honors graduate of the College of Southern Nevada’s with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Deaf Studies: American Sign Language/ English Interpreting, she is dedicated to supporting and uplifting the Deaf and hard of hearing community. With prior experience serving as Member-at-Large for the CSN ASL Club, and numerous volunteer roles, Alexis has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to advocacy and cultural awareness. As the mother of a Deaf daughter, her dedication is both professional and deeply personal. She looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact through community involvement and service here in Nevada.

Alison is a Chicago area native and currently living in Illinois again after moving from Reno, Nevada. Prior to Reno, she lived in Las Vegas for five years. She has been a professional interpreter for 10 years, working mostly in K-12 education and out in the community. In December 2013, she graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in ASL-English Interpretation, and currently holds her EIPA 4.0+ and NIC. Since 2022, she has been volunteering for NVRID in the capacity as Membership Chair, Secretary, and Professional Development Committee Chair. She is looking forward to continuing to serve the Nevada interpreting and Deaf communities however she can from her new home. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her two fur babies, Tusken Raider and Tinkerbell, and her significant other who is currently working towards his Master's Degree at UNR.
